My approach is unobtrusive, allowing me to capture moments as they naturally unfold, while also providing a friendly, gentle helping hand for those iconic shots that will become the centerpiece of your wedding gallery. The result is a catalogue of beautiful moments and special snapshots from your day, which come together to create an editorially styled timeline which you’ll look back on for years to come.
I’m also a big believer that most comfortable couples get the epic shots. So, when I’m working with you, I want us to have fun, there’s no prodding a long list of people into group shots and no hanging around for an hour whilst I capture your family formal images – I’m here to fit into your schedule so you can enjoy your day! Whether it’s an all-day event or simply an evening’s celebrations, I have created packages to suit all.

I completely understand that not everyone is a natural in front of the camera (ironically, I always feel awkward when I’m in front of the camera!), so don’t worry, I’ve got a whole host of natural pose suggestions up my sleeve for camera-shy couples who need a little extra guidance. We’ll have a laugh, and I promise – no prom worthing posing!

Documentary & Editorial Wedding Photographer in Edinburgh, Scotland
Once I have confirmed I am available for your date, I’ll guide you to a link on this site to book a wedding consultation via Zoom.
This will give you the opportunity to ask any questions, share what you’re looking for in a wedding photographer, and I can tell you a little more about how I would work on your day and my style. Feel free to ask for any supplier recommendations, I have host of wonderful people I can suggest.
After our chat, I’ll hold your date for 72 hours. If you decide to proceed (yay!), I’ll send you a booking link where we can make it official with your contract and 20% deposit.
From there, I’m always just a message away, so don’t hesitate to reach out anytime with any questions.
About four weeks before your wedding, I’ll send you a pre-wedding questionnaire which we can then discuss during our second Zoom call, typically two weeks before the big day. We’ll cover everything from getting-ready spaces to confetti, confirm any must-have shots, and, most importantly, get excited for your wedding day!
